Degree mainly are of 3 types. डिग्री के कुल तीन प्राकर होते हैं। आपको याद होगा हमने what are the parts of speech in English grammar ? इस में हमलोगों ने पहले कर लिया हैं। Degree का प्रयोग हम verb to be या All Tenses, या आप चाहें तो इसे Modal Verbs में भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं।
What is the degree of comparison?
The degree of comparison is actually an adjective which has been catagorised in three different degrees. वास्तव में ‘degree’ adjective (विशेषण) होता है जो Noun and Pronoun की विशेषता बताता है जिसे हमने speech में सीखा था, इस को तीन (degree) श्रेणियों । रखा गया है। इससे हम किसी दो या अधिक noun या Pronoun की तुलना (compare) करते हैं।
Example of degree Of Comparison
जैसे, ” Tall” एक positive degree Of Comparison हैं। Tall का मतलब होता है “लंबा” अगर हमें बोलना हो “अधिक लंबा” तो हम comparative degree “Taller” का प्रयोग करते हैं और अगर हमें बोलना हो “सबसे लंबा” तब हम “the tallest” का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। जैसे नीचे दिए गए table में आप देख सकते हैं important degree of comparison दिया गया है जिसे आपको समझने में आसानी होगी।

1. Positive degree of comparison
इस को बनाने के लिए सब से ज़रूरी चीज़ याद रखना है इसकी बनावट structure: [ as + positive degree+ as ]
Examples:
विराट उतना लंबा है जितना रोहित है। Viraat is as tall as Rohit.
किताब टीचर जैसी अच्छी है। A Book is as good as a teacher.
काजोल उतनी सुंदर है जितनी दीपिका। Kajol is as beautiful as Deepika.
पहाड़ हिमालय जैसा ऊंचा था। The mountain was as high as the Himalayas.

2. Degree of comparison

जब हम दो के बीच तुलना करतें हैं तो comparative degree को use करते हैं। और इस sentences में ( than = से ) होता है। Let’s see examples :
नदीम मदन से मोटा है। Nadim is fatter than Madan.
मुंबई दिल्ली से बड़ी है। Mumbai is bigger than Delhi.

3. Superlative degree of comparison
Superlative में जब हम सबसे तुलना करतें हैं तब इस degree का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इस degree के पहले हमें “the” का इस्तेमाल करना पड़ता है।
Examples:
दिल्ली भारत की सबसे बड़ी शहर है। Delhi is the biggest city of India.
